We are delighted to confirm that our prestigious Annual Conference will be held on 20th October at Pride Park Stadium, Derby. This ‘must attend’ event is free for all Rail Forum Midlands (RFM) members and we would strongly encourage you to ensure you are represented – be it in person or virtually. Early booking is recommended so we can ensure we are able to accommodate as many people as possible for the face to face event.

The focus for this year’s Conference will be the challenges and opportunities of implementing the Williams-Shapps Plan for Rail including how we deliver for our customers, the creation of Great British Railways, the affordability challenge and the role of, and opportunities for, the supply chain. The day will be structured around a series of key themes and will include a number of presentations and discussion panels.

We are currently finalising the details for the day  which will run from 08.40am to 3.30pm.

Confirmed speakers/participants include:

  • Chris Heaton-Harris, Minister of State, Department for Transport
  • Lord Callanan, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy
  • Alistair Gordon, CEO Keolis UK and Eire and
  • Senior Directors from Network Rail, OEMs, passenger operating companies and asset managers.

We are planning a face to face event with additional live stream for those unable to attend in person. All RFM members are entitled to up two complimentary ‘in person’ places at our conference; Silver/Gold and Patron members are entitled to additional places (these can be booked directly with the RFM team). Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. 

All reservations can be made below. Please note bookings close at 5pm on 8th October.

Non-Members: subject to availability non-members are welcome to apply for tickets for the Conference, these are priced at £250 plus VAT per person. If you are not a member and want to enquire about tickets please contact karen@midlandsrail.co.uk 

 

Dinner@theRoundhouse

The prestigious Dinner@theRoundhouse will take place on the evening of the Conference. This rail industry favourite event, organised by Mainspring, and timed to coincide with our Conference provides colleagues with a fantastic evening of rail networking to complement the day’s activity.
