Please note this event is for RFM Members only

We are aware of a number of members who have questions about commercial contracts and are having to get to grips with how some of the clauses in their contracts might be used.

In our second Hot Topics event, Michelle Craven-Faulkner, Head of Commercial Services at Geldards and Vice Chair of the Rail Forum is our guest speaker on Force Majeure, Frustration and Contracting Complexities.

This one hour online Zoom session will take attendees through some of the following key questions which you should be considering when looking at your contracts with both Suppliers and Customers;

What are your cancellation rights?

Can you claim a refund for cancellations?

Is the contract suspended or terminated?

How much effort must you put in to maintain performance?

Is it force majeure?

Act of God?

How are international contracts impacted?

Is it frustration?

Careful correspondence to maximise your rights

Following Michelle’s presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions in the Q&A session

PLEASE NOTE JOINING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS EVENT WILL BE ISSUED THE EVENING BEFORE TO ALLOW FOR LAST MINUTE REGISTRATIONS
