Looking to access funding to support your growth or develop your ideas? Trying to navigate the many funds and don’t know where to begin? Then start here with our whistle stop tour of different funding opportunities and the support available to rail businesses to successfully secure the funding you need.
This event will provide an opportunity for members to briefly hear from several organisations about potential access to funding / funding opportunities. Following the short presentations members will have the opportunity to network with the presenters and each other in smaller groups / one to one sessions using our highly interactive networking platform.
Our presenter line up is:
Daisy Chapman-Chamberlain, Rail Sector Lead with KTN. Daisy will update members on current funding streams and the priority areas that are attracting funding now together with those likely to attract funding in the future; from accessibility and inclusivity to decarbonisation and sustainability.
Sandy Finlay from ABGI with some hints and tips about how to put together a funding bid and the support they can offer.
Paul Bhatia from the European Space Agency (ESA) will explain the opportunities available through the Space4Rail funding stream.
Neil Carson & Graeme Stewart from Legal Rooms. Graeme & Neil will highlight the importance of R&D tax credits and the influence it has in driving economic growth and rewarding companies for their continued efforts towards innovation.
Halil Bedevi, UK Head of Aerospace, Defence, Rail and Advanced Manufacturing, Santander. Santander see themselves as playing a key role in supporting businesses beyond just day to day business banking services and rail is one of their focus areas. From support with exports to skills and growth finance they can help.
