Flotec was presented with Supplier of the Year Award 2019 for their contribution to the Flex 319 Project – also known as the Flex 769 Project – which has been in development since 2014. The Flex Modification turns electric powered trains (Class 319) into a Hybrid Class known as Class 769. The Brush designed DA Raft holds a diesel MAN engine, allowing the train to travel on its own power or on the 25Kv overhead lines. Find out more about the Flex project here.
Flotec have been working with Brush Traction for more than 24 years and have been involved in the Flex project since it first began. This is Flotec Industrial Limited’s second Supplier of The Year Award from Brush Traction, as they were also presented with the prize in 2018.
Flotec Industrial is delighted to have received this prestigious award and would like to thank all their employees because they say that it was their hard work, effort and contribution that led to this success.
Flotec would also like to thank Brush Traction for recognising their commitment to the company and its projects. They add “it is wonderful to see customers celebrating their suppliers and we are overwhelmed by the appreciation that we have received.”
Flotec had a fantastic evening at Brush Traction’s Supplier Awards Ceremony and look forward to many more years of partnership with Brush, providing the business with the best possible support.
Brush Traction’s Supplier Awards Evening is held every year to celebrate suppliers, to thank them for their on-going support. Each year, Brush Traction staff vote for their top three suppliers and the results are announced during a presentation evening which, this year, was held at the Apple Tree Coffee Shop in Burton-on-Trent.
