RFEM Member, Elastacloud to Host Microsoft Exec Vice President for Cloud Services Session

Elastacloud is proud to partner with Microsoft to host Scott Guthrie, Executive Vice President of Microsoft Cloud & Enterprise Group on 25th May 2017 at Twickenham Stadium.

Elastacloud, one of the most dominant players in the UK for Advanced Data Analytics Solutions, is delighted to announce Scott Guthrie, Executive Vice President of Microsoft Cloud & Enterprise Group will be flying into the UK on 25th May 2017 for a day of presentations and demonstrations showing the very latest Microsoft Azure developments

Scott will present an extended session on how you can do more on building for the intelligent cloud.  Scott will present a deep dive into Microsoft’s cloud services, advanced workloads and capabilities. This will be a fast-paced, demo-heavy session which will cover the length and breadth of Azure with an extended tips and tricks session.

Amongst other things Scott will demo VM scale sets, managed disks, Hybrid cloud, Azure Stack, enterprise mobility + security, Xamarin/mobile development, SQL, Data Lake, Cognitive Services, Machine Learning, AI, R, open source capabilities, Logic Apps, Power BI, Flow, developer tools and services, containers and more.

About Scott Guthrie

As executive vice president of the Microsoft Cloud and Enterprise Group, Scott Guthrie is responsible for the company’s cloud infrastructure, server, database, CRM, ERP, management and development tools businesses. His engineering team builds Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Active Directory, System Centre, Visual Studio and .NET.

Prior to leading the Cloud and Enterprise Group, Guthrie helped lead Microsoft Azure, Microsoft’s public cloud platform. Since joining the company in 1997, he has made critical contributions to many of Microsoft’s key cloud, server and development technologies and was one of the original founders of the .NET project. Derby based supplier, Tidyco is set for international success after the completion of a Trade Mark project which allows trading with international brand protection through WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization).
